• Well, hey there! My name is Noel Anderson. I have an insatiable love of B-movies and blame much of who I am upon their influence! As a regular contributor to HUSTLER and HUSTLER HUMOR magazines, I’ve had plenty of opportunity to spread my own special brand of cartoon filth and debauchery in the print medium. Goof Roof is my epic foray into cyberspace. I’ve illustrated and written for numerous humor publications such as CRACKED, JOKESTER, and THWAK magazines. I’ve also developed characters for the National Kids Construction Club and designed logos for several businesses. I’ve worked as a radio personality (and continue to do so) for well over a decade in good ol’ Fargo, ND and enjoy creating musical and audio parodies in addition to my comic satires. So, go on…what are you waiting for? Check out the gallery and enjoy everything that’s goofy under one roof. Indeed, that’s why we’re here, my friends! Need to get a hold of me?

Posted by Scotch on July 21st, 2010

Sounds like our Trashed exhibit may stay up in Denise’s gallery through the middle of August. Go check it out when you get a chance. Here’s a photo from the artist’s reception of me with the supreme genius himself, Modern Man! Check it out, mang!

Then there’s Jack Sunday…he’s staring because he thinks it’s one of those magic eye pictures!

I’m signing some copies of my official Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers comic adaptation. Someday it could be worth upwards of five bucks!

TRASHED: The Art Of Punchgut and Scotch

Posted by Scotch on July 19th, 2010

Hey, the reception for TRASHED: The Art Of Punchgut and Scotch was quite the success! HUGE turnout…better than we could have ever hoped for. Denise’s DK Framing/Gallery 14 was the perfect venue for Punchgut and I to display our wares. Even sold a few things! Modern Man was also cool enough to stop by and bring a few spectators with him from his Plains Art Museum presentation that he was doing that same night! I felt like a giddy schoolgirl! Tee-hee! Don’t forget, the showing goes on through July 31st at DK Framing, 14 Robert Street!

Gallery Show with Punchgut

Posted by Scotch on June 9th, 2010

trashed31 For the first time ever, two accomplished Fargo-based artists pair up to showcase their works, ala “Two Artists, One Cup.” Both Punchgut and yours truly happen to reside in the area, but our work spans the globe, suckahs! TRASHED: The Artwork of Punchgut and Scotch!
The ominous collections of Punchgut are displayed and sold around the world after exposure in Art of Modern Rock, The Wall Street Journal, and Disney’s box-office hit Sky High, to name just a few. Punchgut’s style and medium vary like his list of clients, from screen-printed concert posters for bands like Kings of Leon, to commissioned spray-painted stencils and found-object collages for gallery invitationals. This is coming up July 15-31 with an artist’s reception on the 15th at 7pm! It all goes down at DK Custom Framing and Gallery 14 on Roberts St.

Stuff You Can Buy To Line My Pockets

Alright, let’s be honest…I’m not getting rich doing this! I just like to draw. That doesn’t mean, however, that I wouldn’t like to see a little scratch for my efforts. The current issue of HUSTLER features the 4-page Ultimate Vampire Movie parody I wrote and illustrated. It’s technically the June issue; I just got my copy in the mail so it should be on newsstands within the next week. Below is GROSS GAGS, which you can purchase in the adult-section at FM NEWS here in Fargo. They’re in that K-mart plaza on University. If you’ve never been there before they’ve got an awesome collection of comics and magazines. I get all my copies of Fangoria and Rue Morgue there.
grosscov.jpg saw2.jpg Finally, I have a ton of copies of the debut issue of the official comic book adaptation of Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers for sale. Contact me at scotch987@hotmail.com for purchase information and I’ll get you all hooked up. There are several other things in the works right now at Goof Roof, including some artwork for an animated television commercial and a forthcoming Fred Olen Ray film called Turbulent Skies. I’m also going to be doing some artwork for a new Richard Griffin film called Atomic Brain Invasion. Keep checking back here at the Goof Roof website for more updates. Oh, and here’s a really cool lobby card for Richard Griffin’s Atomic Brain Invasion. Check it out!

The Latest in Shameless Exploitation

Posted by Scotch on December 19th, 2009

Hey, suckah! Now that we’ve gotten the pleasantries out of the way…what a fruitful past couple of months! I recently completed this painting. It’s a companion piece to the painting, Bobby Sasquatch, that I did for last year’s Hawley Art Show.

I’m so freakin’ uncouth, I even pimp the Goof Roof website in the painting. How shameless am I? Ah, ’tis a curse! I like the look of these paintings though. I just draw directly on the backing of the picture frame, so the brown is just the corrugated cardboard showing through. Then I filled the background with white and yellow acryllic. Another mutated monstrosity from Minnesota! Below is the original Bobby Sasquatch painting that this one was patterned after.

Vampires Suck…seriously!

Posted by Scotch on August 26th, 2009

vampiresplash Just thought I’d let you see that I haven’t been sitting idle over my vacation. That’s right! I actually have been afforded the opportunity to sleep in like a normal person! As opposed to waking up at 3 am like an underpaid disc jockey…or a v-v-vampire! I’m in the middle of fleshing out a parody of the recent vampire mania sweeping the entertainment world! Slashing the jugular of such fare as Twilight, True Blood and the Vampire Diaries with HUSTLER’S ULTIMATE VAMPIRE MOVIE! I’ll keep you posted.
