Currently working on this baby for an upcoming issue of Hustler Humor! The splash panel turned out pretty good…however I definitely have to start watching more of this show. From what I’ve seen it’s a riot! I also just finished up a 3-page Honey Hooker comic for HUSTLER’s Holiday issue. I’ll post samples from that soon.

Hey! I just finished the cd jacket illustration for the new musical fun-feast being served up by Crummy, Pooey, and yours truly! The forthcoming Goosepoop offering is called Houses of the Homely. Here’s a sneak peek at the cover. Music so awesome it’s guaranteed to make John Bonham leap out of his grave and bitchslap Plant and Page for being a couple of pansies.

Hey, the reception for TRASHED: The Art Of Punchgut and Scotch was quite the success! HUGE turnout…better than we could have ever hoped for. Denise’s DK Framing/Gallery 14 was the perfect venue for Punchgut and I to display our wares. Even sold a few things! Modern Man was also cool enough to stop by and bring a few spectators with him from his Plains Art Museum presentation that he was doing that same night! I felt like a giddy schoolgirl! Tee-hee! Don’t forget, the showing goes on through July 31st at DK Framing, 14 Robert Street!

Aloha, fiends! The new Summer edition of HUSTLER Humor is readily available at finer truck stops and adult bookstores everywhere. The latest installment features an awesome spoof of tabloids like the National Enquirer. I’ll let you get an eyeful of this fine cover by Bob Muleady first and then I’ll tell you about the double-serving of yours truly that’s served up on the inside.

Good stuff, eh? Of course it is…did you think America’s Funniest Humor Magazine was just a clever cover blurb to sell magazines?! Sheesh! So, I managed to squeeze quite a few of my goodies into this summer edition. First off is a four-page comic I did called Sorority Babes and the Egyptian Subterfuge and let’s be honest, it features a lot of nudity! Fortunately, this is HUSTLER Humor so they like that sort of thing, natch! There’s also a book review and four-page preview of GROSS GAGS! That’s the book that Kit Lively and I toiled over for a year. Here’s a little sample of that mind-numbing rot for you.

There’s also 3-D babes, rotten jokes, a classic Honey Hooker piece and more Trosley, Muleady, Billette and Collins than you can shake your stick at! Just screw up the courage and ask that broad at the gas station to grab you one from behind the counter. Just to be safe, you better buy two of ‘em!

I know I actually posted this image a few months back when I had just finished working on it. This is just a quick heads up to let you know that it is finally available to purchase! YES! Lucky you, eh? The latest edition of HUSTLER, on newsstands now, features the full-color, 3-page, IRON BALLS 2 comic that I wrote and illustrated…along with other tawdry pictorials and articles. Y’know, even if you’re not a fan of my artwork, you can do what a lot of my friends do and simply use this as an excuse to pick up a copy of HUSTLER. “What?! No, honey, I’m not a pervert…Noel has a comic in this issue! Really!” Enjoy, and as always…excelsior!

Gallery Show with Punchgut

For the first time ever, two accomplished Fargo-based artists pair up to showcase their works, ala “Two Artists, One Cup.” Both Punchgut and yours truly happen to reside in the area, but our work spans the globe, suckahs! TRASHED: The Artwork of Punchgut and Scotch!
The ominous collections of Punchgut are displayed and sold around the world after exposure in Art of Modern Rock, The Wall Street Journal, and Disney’s box-office hit Sky High, to name just a few. Punchgut’s style and medium vary like his list of clients, from screen-printed concert posters for bands like Kings of Leon, to commissioned spray-painted stencils and found-object collages for gallery invitationals. This is coming up July 15-31 with an artist’s reception on the 15th at 7pm! It all goes down at DK Custom Framing and Gallery 14 on Roberts St.

…in Clown Town! (Painting measures 20 x 30) I like how this turned out. It’s got a little bit of everything I love in there; The Ramones, Toxic Avenger, monkeys driving hot rods, brats grilled over nuclear waste. It just doesn’t get much more fun than that.
