• Well, hey there! My name is Noel Anderson. I have an insatiable love of B-movies and blame much of who I am upon their influence! As a regular contributor to HUSTLER and HUSTLER HUMOR magazines, I’ve had plenty of opportunity to spread my own special brand of cartoon filth and debauchery in the print medium. Goof Roof is my epic foray into cyberspace. I’ve illustrated and written for numerous humor publications such as CRACKED, JOKESTER, and THWAK magazines. I’ve also developed characters for the National Kids Construction Club and designed logos for several businesses. I’ve worked as a radio personality (and continue to do so) for well over a decade in good ol’ Fargo, ND and enjoy creating musical and audio parodies in addition to my comic satires. So, go on…what are you waiting for? Check out the gallery and enjoy everything that’s goofy under one roof. Indeed, that’s why we’re here, my friends! Need to get a hold of me?

Lightning Dude gets his 15-minutes!

The nice thing about having this GOOF ROOF site is that it’s a nice outlet for artwork that wouldn’t ordinarily get to be seen! For example, this red-lightning guy I came up with has been passed up several times! Promiscuous-looking fellow, ain’t he? I originally created him as a mascot for a downloadable radio podcast that never came to be. Then I pitched him as the face of the new ROCK 102…again, denied! But here he is, nonetheless! I’ll just foist him upon you the Goof Roof website patron. He’d look awfully sharp on a t-shirt, no? fun.jpg

Goosepoop in the works…fans rejoice!

Not that this is going to elicit much hoopla and fanfare, but Pooey and myself have been writing new songs for the fourth ‘Goosepoop’ cd. Although we haven’t had much of a chance to get together with Crummy lately, I know he has been working on tunes as well. The plan was to write a hardcore album for middle-aged punks called ‘40-Year Old Hardcore’ or ‘Middle Angst’ as a follow up to our ‘Ringing the Monkey Bell’ cd, but it’s evolved into alot of different styles and grown like some sort of a mutant fungus. A few of the song titles thus far: Haliburton Cummings, Skunkape Bolsheviks, Irish Whiskey Farts, and Don’t Make Pizzas If Your Face Looks Like One. Remember friends, Goosepoop-mania starts here, won’t you help?

The final FLIPP off!

Posted by Scotch on May 10th, 2007

flipp1.jpg The other day I went over to the “FLIPP Central” site to check up on the coolest band in the galaxy and was rather disappointed to find out that the band has gone they’re seperate ways…sigh. I freakin’ loved those guys! But I guess I’m a little slow-on-the-uptake as I see they haven’t done a show together since 2003! The few times Brynn, Chia, Freaky and Kilo were in Fargo, ND they certainly made an impression on me. So much so, in fact, that I started working on a graphic novel based on them…Hell, LOOK at ‘em! They’re walking cartoon characters to begin with…scratch that, ROCKING cartoon characters to begin with! Anyhoo, here’s a glimpse of the comic that will never be! I believe Brynn has a pretty cool Myspace page with alot of FLIPP stuff up you’ll be interested in checking out! Plus Flipp Central has links to Freaky’s band sites and Chia’s art sites…FLIPP out!flipp2.jpg

Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers Update

Posted by Scotch on May 9th, 2007

saw2.jpg Now would be a good time to get up to speed on what’s going on with the ‘Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers’ comic book. Fred Olen Ray, the greatest film director in the world and head cheese at Retromedia, tells me the proofs should be done sometime in June. From there it gets sent out to distribs to set up distribution. That’s the first step. The book will feature not only the full-length comic adaptation of the movie, but also some gag-style shorts (y’know, like the ones in Archie Comics) featuring the characters from “Witch Academy”, one of the last great Scream Queen horror-comedies! Be looking for it soon, grasshopper! sawsam.jpg

E.S.Pee-Yew blasts the bad guys!

Okay, I realize I’ve had multiple superhero-related posts on here lately, but before you go thinking I’ve sold my soul to Marvel let me lay some props on my man, Kit Lively! He has come up with one of the most repulsive storylines coupled with an equally hillarious character named E.S.Pee-yew! He’s a superhero who has telekinetic flatulence! That’s right he can psychically will his farts to go wherever he wants in the name of fighting crime! I’m currently finishing up illustrating his first adventure, entitled “Where’s the Queef?”, which should grace the pages of HUSTLER Humor around September! Keep your noses in the air and your tails out of the wind, true believers!
