• Hey there, lovers of fine art! My name is Noel Anderson but folks generally call me Scotch. I have an insatiable love of B-movies and blame much of who I am upon their influence. I've been a cartoonist for many years and Goof Roof continues to be my toehold in cyberspace. I’ve illustrated and written for numerous humor publications such as CRACKED, HUSTLER and HUSTLER HUMOR, JOKESTER, and THWAK magazines. Seduction Cinema Comics Group published my comic books, Play-Mate of the Apes and SpiderBabe. I worked as a radio personality for close to two decades in good ol’ Fargo, ND and enjoy creating musical and audio parodies in addition to my comic satires, and I'm currently co-editing a magazine called ART RIOT. So, go on… what are you waiting for? Check out the gallery and enjoy everything that’s goofy under one roof. Indeed, that’s why we’re here, my friends! Need to get a hold of me.?

dpunch.jpg There’s alot of irons in the fire right now, my fellow Goof-roofers! Unfortunately, there are also a tad TOO many things that are on the backburner. Like the soon-to-be-indespensible “I got Donkeypunched by Scotch and DUI” t-shirts. At the moment the funds just aren’t there to get them pressed…but WAIT! Don’t go slitting your wrists yet! They’re coming very soon and when they do you won’t want to be seen without one. After all, you don’t want people thinking you’re some kind of hayseed do ya? Well of course you don’t. So stay vigilant and don’t miss out on another golden opportunity. I’ll keep you posted!
cave2.jpg Goof Roof is also currently working in cahoots with another organization to develop the funkiest in retro-tee’s for the ladies. More on that soon, as well as details on my latest comic connection with a female pro-wrestler and a local beef shtix baron! Until then, here’s a sneak peek at the “America’s Next Top Caveman” comic I’m in the middle of working on. Oh, and make sure to watch “The Tripper” out now on dvd! It’s the best movie featuring an axe-wielding Ronald Reagan killing hippies in the woods I’ve ever seen. Take care!

CHILI FACE: The Animated Movie

Posted by Scotch on October 17th, 2007

Here’s the link to check out CHILI FACE: the movie! This is a comic that I drew some time back. I had a few of the talented staff members here at Radio Fargo-Moohead give me a hand in voicing it, then I assembled the audio, DUI assembled all of the video and voila…art! Hope you enjoy it!

Halloween Update!

Hey, gang! What a month for movie watching, eh? I love October because the fall weather is just so darn conducive to watching horror movies! It’s better than Christmas…again, because of the horror movies. (Have I mentioned that I love horror movies, particularly those of the B-variety? Yeah, I suppose I have.) So, PLANET TERROR, the better half of Grindhouse in my opinion, comes out on Tuesday! If you haven’t seen it yet, get it! It’s the best movie Robert Rodriguez has ever directed! I know, pretty bold statement! But I stand by it, dammit…in all my geekish glory! Also worth watching this Halloween season is ‘Flight of the Living Dead’, which just came out on dvd last week! It’s sort of like ‘Snakes on a Plane’ but with zombies. How can you resist that? hallicon.jpg And one of my personal favorites during Halloween time, ‘Night of the Demons’! Great cheesey scares and a naked Linnea Quigley doing things that were never meant to be done with a lipstick tube! But don’t stop there, boils and ghouls! Check out these other fine picks this creepy season: Chopping Mall, Evil Toons, Sorority House Massacre 2, The Hazing, Sleepaway Camp, The Burning, Night of the Creeps…sigh. I really could go on forever! Just watch whatever turns your crank I guess and enjoy the season! Here’s a little Halloween caricature of myself…you guess which of the two is supposed to be me!

The ‘Lost’ Captain Kia Strips 2

Posted by Scotch on October 2nd, 2007

Here’s the second part of my two-part post, re-living the riveting adventures of the car-dealership-promoting superhero with the huge pompadour, Captain Kia! Ahhh yes, I illustrated a total of 8 newspaper comics in all, six of which ran in the Fargo Forum. To the best of my knowledge this particular strip never ran in the paper.

The ‘Lost’ Captain Kia strips

Posted by Scotch on October 2nd, 2007

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve kicked out any new Captain Kia comics or radio ads for the good folks over at Muscatell. Sadly, the ol’ Captain may be going the way of the buffalo, campers. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy his last few adventures right here through the magic of the Goof Roof psychotronic screen, does it? Well, of course not. This strip never ran in the paper, to the best of my knowledge. It’s intended to be sort of a spoof of those old 1950’s romance comics. Enjoy!
