• Hey there, lovers of fine art! My name is Noel Anderson but folks generally call me Scotch. I have an insatiable love of B-movies and blame much of who I am upon their influence. I've been a cartoonist for many years and Goof Roof continues to be my toehold in cyberspace. I’ve illustrated and written for numerous humor publications such as CRACKED, HUSTLER and HUSTLER HUMOR, JOKESTER, and THWAK magazines. Seduction Cinema Comics Group published my comic books, Play-Mate of the Apes and SpiderBabe. I worked as a radio personality for close to two decades in good ol’ Fargo, ND and enjoy creating musical and audio parodies in addition to my comic satires, and I'm currently co-editing a magazine called ART RIOT. So, go on… what are you waiting for? Check out the gallery and enjoy everything that’s goofy under one roof. Indeed, that’s why we’re here, my friends! Need to get a hold of me.?

The Forthcoming Revolution!

Posted by Scotch on February 24th, 2008

I already went on at-length in the previous post about Dui and I returning to mornings March 3rd, so I’ll spare you anymore hoopla! However, I did come up with this neat bit of new art-related propaganda that I’d like to share…viva la stupidity!

Keep on Truckin: Re-tread funnies!

I try not to go on at length about Robert Crumb, but it’s kind of hard not to. I mean, he’s the father of underground comics and one of the most technically gifted cartoonists in American History! This is a comic I did a few years back for HUSTLER Humor called “An Interview with R.Crumby” that I thought I’d reprise for the site. I tried to mimic his style a little bit here but I don’t really do it justice. Heh-heh-heh…g’wan, read it! It’s b&w counter-culture goodness!crumb1.jpgcrumb2.jpg

Hawkeye Has Bases Loaded For Fun!

Posted by Scotch on February 3rd, 2008

hawk.jpg Knocking around a few ideas featuring the FM Redhawk’s mascot (at the urging of my afternoon radio partner) and came up with this piece. A possible cover for a “Hawkeye” comic book? Could be…keep your ears peeled for more, banana lips! BTW, just watched “Lake Placid 2″ the other night and all I can say is ‘Boy, can that John Schneider act!’ Sigh! Beats the crap outta the reality tv we’re subjected to because of the writer’s strike. Even “1 Versus 100″ has continued to flourish, leaving poor Bob Saget to ape Howie Mandel’s schtick for another month or two! I hear that in a plight to get more ratings, NBC is bringing Bob Barker out of retirement for one night to neuter Saget live on the air. I may actually tune in for that one!
