• Hey there, lovers of fine art! My name is Noel Anderson but folks generally call me Scotch. I have an insatiable love of B-movies and blame much of who I am upon their influence. I've been a cartoonist for many years and Goof Roof continues to be my toehold in cyberspace. I’ve illustrated and written for numerous humor publications such as CRACKED, HUSTLER and HUSTLER HUMOR, JOKESTER, and THWAK magazines. Seduction Cinema Comics Group published my comic books, Play-Mate of the Apes and SpiderBabe. I worked as a radio personality for close to two decades in good ol’ Fargo, ND and enjoy creating musical and audio parodies in addition to my comic satires, and I'm currently co-editing a magazine called ART RIOT. So, go on… what are you waiting for? Check out the gallery and enjoy everything that’s goofy under one roof. Indeed, that’s why we’re here, my friends! Need to get a hold of me.?

Thanks Muleady,Trosley, Billette and Collins!

autohh.jpg How cool and exciting…I went to the ol’ mailbox the other day and found that ‘HUSTLER Humor’ editor, Bob Muleady had mailed me a copy of the all-new issue (Vol. 30, No.4) and it was autographed by the fab four cartoonists of LFP! Apparently, the four contract guys, Muleady, Trosley, Billette and Collins and two other regular contributors, Winners and Redknapp, were together for lunch with Larry Flynt on the 13th of December. Bob snagged a couple of issues and asked the guys to autograph them. One went to me and the other one went to Steve Forrer, the art director. I couldn’t be more thrilled, man. Years ago, I was out in L.A. for the Frier’s Club roast for Larry Flynt and was hoping I’d get to meet some of those guys but it never happened. I guess this is about the next best thing, eh? They’re all incredible artists in my opinion and I hope that one day I’ll get to pal around with them! Sigh, I guess that’s what I get for living in Minnesota.
gen01.jpg Now this latest issue is definitely a great way for anyone to wrap up 2008! It’s jam packed with some of the sickest cartoons from the usual gang of perverts. Superhero, “Major Masturbator” gets the ball rolling, followed by a great collection of BUSH ‘toons to point out all the fodder there was to work with during the worst American Presidency in history! There’s also a free XXX-mas card and a pictorial that will either make your mouth or your eyes water. Tom Simonton is back with another Trauma Corps and Trosley’s “Things Women Want Us to Do” is a riot. I’ve been a huge fan of Trosley’s since reading CARtoons magazine as a kid! My two-page “Generation Hustler Humor” wraps up the issue and admittedly it could have been a helluva lot better. I’m looking forward to the next ish as I knocked out a pretty good parody of ‘The Biggest Loser’ that should redeem my standing. Heh-heh-heh! I mean Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas. I’ll see you in 2009! gen02.jpg

Christmas Toon I Drew 8 Years Ago!

Posted by Scotch on December 18th, 2008

Here’s a little comic that I drew back in 2000 when I was doing a weekly strip called “Paranoia” for Sunday Comics Online. It’s my own cheezy ‘n sleazy take on Twas the Night Before Christmas.

slay1.jpg Now, onto a personal recommendation for a great holiday film. It warms my cockles to suggest “Santa’s Slay” to you this Christmas season. Let’s face it, there’s a lot of ‘Killer-Santa’ movies you could watch but few have the B-movie sensibilities that make “Santa’s Slay” such a pleasure to view over and over again. Bill Goldberg, dressed as Jolly Old St. Nick, stomps through this film spouting wisecracks and beating people to death in various settings; strip clubs, family gatherings, etc. It also has a star-studded opening sequence in which we see James Caan, Fran Drescher, Chris Kataan, and Rebecca Gayheart get brutally killed by Santa in numerous creative ways. See it back to back with “Silent Night, Deadly Night” for even more holiday fun!

The Proof is in the Palin!

palin02.jpg Hey, Poppy! I just finished working up a four-page comic for HUSTLER called “The Sarah Palin Chronicles” that I’m pretty psyched about. Seeing as I’m trying to keep these blog entries as PG-13 as possible however, there’s not much of it I can show you. With the exception of a couple of copy edits and a couple of touch-ups to the art it’s good to go and will probably be in the May issue…but what’s REALLY significant is that I managed to squeeze in my ROCK 102 morning show partners, Tank and Ginger, into the background in one of the panels. (An honor previously held by only one other Fargo entity, the band S.O.P.) bded.jpg The image is a little small here because it’s been reduced, but that’s them on the sidewalk watching the Palin’s drive a snowmobile down a snowless city street. Note: the action takes place on the corner of 13th Ave and 25th street! Not much else to talk about other than I just saw a couple of awesome flicks…Return to Sleepaway Camp (which I’ve been waiting a good decade for) and BRAIN DEAD! Brain Dead is a new zombie gore-fest from director, Kevin Tenney; the same guy who made NIGHT OF THE DEMONS! It’s about six people who are stranded in a deserted fishing lodge with a host of alien-infected, mutant amoeba-controlled zombies at their doorstep. Nudity and gore abound! I can’t advise you strongly enough…SEE THIS MOVIE! That’s all for now!
