• Hey there, lovers of fine art! My name is Noel Anderson but folks generally call me Scotch. I have an insatiable love of B-movies and blame much of who I am upon their influence. I've been a cartoonist for many years and Goof Roof continues to be my toehold in cyberspace. I’ve illustrated and written for numerous humor publications such as CRACKED, HUSTLER and HUSTLER HUMOR, JOKESTER, and THWAK magazines. Seduction Cinema Comics Group published my comic books, Play-Mate of the Apes and SpiderBabe. I worked as a radio personality for close to two decades in good ol’ Fargo, ND and enjoy creating musical and audio parodies in addition to my comic satires, and I'm currently co-editing a magazine called ART RIOT. So, go on… what are you waiting for? Check out the gallery and enjoy everything that’s goofy under one roof. Indeed, that’s why we’re here, my friends! Need to get a hold of me.?

Bikini Spring Break movie review

Posted by Scotch on June 28th, 2012

bikini1 Over the years, Robert Carradine has starred in several, over-the-top, T and A comedies. Beach romps, like 1976’s The Pom Pom Girls and college, fish-out-of-water stories like the Revenge of the Nerds movies. Leave it to those nuts at The Asylum to find the next logical step for Mr. Carradine…casting him as an alcoholic coach to a group of coeds from a small, conservative, college whose marching band is going to nationals. Lizzie McGuire’s dad would have never approved of this!

bikni2 Billed as a “sexy comedy classic in the tradition of Road Trip and American Pie,” Bikini Spring Break’s bikini-clad protagonists manage to break out of their shells when their bus breaks down smack dab in the middle of Florida during spring break. Hold on to your beach balls! In one ill-fated attempt after another, the girls manage to lose their tops so often you’d think that they must be made out of defective fabric of some sort, as they try to raise funds to fix their dilapitated bus. While Coach Carradine takes his sweet-ass time driving cross-country to rescue his girls and whisk them away to the big marching band competition, the coed’s adventures lead them from a strip club to a jello wrestling event, a wet t-shirt contest…and even a mechanical bull riding competition that sends shirts and bras flying! The story moves briskly, the jokes are paced out nicely, and director Jared Cohn focuses his camera exactly where one would expect him to.

These poor girls don’t stand a chance as screenwriters Jared Cohn and Naomi Selfman have figured out every possible way to get them out of their clothes. If you’re looking for nudity and crude humor you certainly won’t be disappointed by popping in The Asylum’s latest, Bikini Spring Break. Check it out from those purveryors of big, bouncy, fun…The Asylum, of course!

Full Moon’s Zombies Vs Strippers DVD review

zombies2
Zombies vs Strippers, the latest release from Full Moon Features, will undoubtedly receive comparisons to Zombies Zombies Zombies (2008), as well as Zombie Strippers (2008), which featured Jenna Jameson and Robert Englund. This saga, while similarly themed, was a far worthier effort in my opinion. Zombies vs Strippers was directed by Alex Nicolaou, son of cult filmmaker Ted Nicolaou. Ted is a familiar name to most Full Moon fans as he has directed numerous classics such as the Subspecies movies, Terror Vision, Bad Channels, etc. Zombies vs Strippers shows that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. It stars Eve Mauro, Jonathan Erickson Eisley, Circus-Szalewski, Victoria Levine, Adriana Sephora, Brittany Vaughn, and Michael Cassidy.

hambo This film immediately brought to mind the awesome vhs Camp Motion Picures/American Independent films I cut my teeth on as a young, b-movie enthusiast! Movies like Nightmare Sisters and Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama. In the movie, The Tough Titty (classy, eh?) is a strip club that’s seen far better days. The sleazy owner, Spider has been losing money for years. However, on this particular evening the joint is hopping. Unfortunately for Spider, the bulk of the clientele are flesh-munching, zombies! The lovely young ladies of The Tough Titty, Vanilla, Bambi, and Sugar Hills doff their duds and deal with the disaster as best they can…stripper-style.

One can’t help but like the feel of this horror-comedy. It felt like they really got something right with this. There’s a lot of campy horror that I watch once and don’t feel the need to return to but Zombies vs Strippers will see numerous viewings in my dvd player, I can guarantee you that. It’s not overtly “winking” at you or telegraphing the jokes, the girls are very easy on the eyes, and they use practical gore effects instead of a lot of cgi. Oh yeah, and just wait until you see Spider’s favorite children’s entertainer, Hambo. You’ll be asking yourself WTF for quite a while on that one. Strippers vs Zombies is a nice installment in the Full Moon repetoire.
