• Hey there, lovers of fine art! My name is Noel Anderson but folks generally call me Scotch. I have an insatiable love of B-movies and blame much of who I am upon their influence. I've been a cartoonist for many years and Goof Roof continues to be my toehold in cyberspace. I’ve illustrated and written for numerous humor publications such as CRACKED, HUSTLER and HUSTLER HUMOR, JOKESTER, and THWAK magazines. Seduction Cinema Comics Group published my comic books, Play-Mate of the Apes and SpiderBabe. I worked as a radio personality for close to two decades in good ol’ Fargo, ND and enjoy creating musical and audio parodies in addition to my comic satires, and I'm currently co-editing a magazine called ART RIOT. So, go on… what are you waiting for? Check out the gallery and enjoy everything that’s goofy under one roof. Indeed, that’s why we’re here, my friends! Need to get a hold of me.?

When Andy Sidaris sadly passed away back in 2007 he left behind a canon of eye-poppingly wonderful, silicone-enhanced, girls-with-guns action thrillers that go unmatched to this day. As a young man who was working at a video rental store in the late 80’s, I was always drawn to the box art of the Sidaris films. These covers, which featured the heaving cleavage of actresses such as Julie Strain and Shae Marks brandishing their huge automatic weapons were an irresistible lure and I was never disappointed by the content within. Andy Sidaris was a pioneering, seven-time Emmy-winning director for ABC Sports, and along with his wife, Arlene, produced 12 outstanding films that were staples of late-night cable.

The films, all collected together here in the Girls, Guns and G-strings collection, focus on the adventures of a team of busty, secret agents, with much of the action taking place in Hawaii. Not only do you have a bevy of Penthouse and Playboy playmates heading up the action, but recognizable faces such as Erik Estrada, Pat Morita, and Danny Trejo. They are literally packed to the hilt with either something blowing up or someone undressing every few minutes. It may sound corny, but I honestly love these films. They’re from a fantastic era… they’re fun, they’re tongue-in-cheek, and they’re heavy on sexy, b-movie, action!
Finally, Mill Creek Entertainment has made it affordable to own all twelve films in one collection. This set is an absolute steal when you take into consideration the number of movies plus the bonus content. All twelve movies are spread out over three discs with two movies on each side.
You can win these awesome dvd box sets all this next week as we give them away during STAG Morning Radio on Rock 102. You can also order them from Andy Sidaris.com or direct from Mill Creek Entertainment!

Are you getting a cut or what? Nicely written tribute, with a skillful evolution into marketing.

I’d sure be willing to give you a cut for those great words but I think you sincerely meant it! Best wishes to you xx Arlene

I am an enormous fan, Arlene! I couldn’t be more appreciative of the entertainment these movies have provided me over the years. We had Andy on our radio show a few times several years back and he was always the most giving and entertaining guest we could have had. Thank you.

I agree. I was always a fan of Sidaris’s films, largely because I like the look: as you said, busty, silicone enhanced models, clean shooting in the Hawaii sun, basic action movie plot. Sidaris had good taste in this sort of thing, and the directing ability to make it work. He is sorely missed (though he and Arlene’s son is not a bad director of this type himself).

Thanks for the comments ShyHustler. He was one of a kind for sure. I do like the Drew Sidaris films just as much. They still have that same great feel. I really wish they’d go ahead and make Battlezone Hawaii!
